The afternoon of May 16, Dr. Kristen Gibson of the University of Arkansas discussed “Microbial Swabs and Processing Environments” as the first presenter in the new MSABD Seminar Series. Present were interested students, faculty, and staff, and Dr. Gibson fielded a number of questions after. Dr. Gibson also visited the University’s Food Research Institute while in Madison. MSABD is grateful to Dr. Gibson for sharing her research and answering a few questions we asked.
